Heidi is originally from Hastings, Nebraska and graduated from University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2004 with Bachelors of Science with emphasis in Kitchens and Bath. Prior to moving to Lincoln she worked at DreamMaker Kitchen & Bath in Grand Island and worked two years at the Home Depot Grand Island and Lincoln locations. Heidi began working at Lincoln Cabinet starting in October 2006 starting as a Design Assistant, moving to the Office Manager position, and excelled in Sales and Design before becoming an owner in September 2016.

 

Heidi is active in Remodeler’s Council with Home Builders’ Association of Lincoln, participating in various events. As a local NKBA board member for eight years, Heidi serving as Secretary 2008-2009, VP of Chapter Programs in 2010-2011, President of Nebraska/Kansas Chapter in 2012-2013, and VP of Professional Development in 2014-2015. She has also served on the Nominating Committee for numerous years. She has served as Alumni Advisor for VP Education for Alpha Omicron Pi and was member during time at UNK and now advising at UNL Chapter for ten years and is active in her Church serving on Communion Committee.

 

She enjoys seeing a project from start to finish. Working with the clients through the whole process from initial design, product selection, and through completion has a bigger sense of satisfaction for her as a designer. Her collaborative style allows for an open, engaging approach to the entire interior design process and strict attention to detail keeps projects running smoothly.

 

Heidi and her husband Karel have been married since 2012, and have two daughters Savannah and Mabel. She also spends much time with her large extended family and cooking with her chef husband.

Recently, Heidi designed and remodeled her 1941 farmhouse kitchen and built an addition with a laundry, bedroom, and garage for their growing family.
